Bremer/McCoy is a Danish duo whose deeply atmospheric and intimate sound blurs the lines between jazz, dub, ambient, and minimalism. Consisting of bassist Jonathan Bremer and pianist/keyboardist Morten McCoy, the pair have been creating music together since their school days — drawing on shared roots and complementary sensibilities.

With a growing global audience, Bremer/McCoy have carved out a quietly powerful space in contemporary music. Their sound combines acoustic instruments — double bass and piano — with analog electronics, creating meditative soundscapes that feel both timeless and deeply present.

Their sixth studio album, Kosmos, stands as a statement of connection, trust, and flow. The album was recorded with minimal margin for overthinking — many tracks were laid down in single takes, improvising not just solos, but full pieces, as if performing them live. Thematically, Kosmos explores meditation, prayer, gratitude, and a soft, grounded optimism: songs like “Alting løser sig” (“Everything Will Work Out”) and “Bøn” (“Prayer”) stem from spontaneous moments of creation and deep reflection.
